Condo III – October 2026
For non-work order related issues, you can contact the board at: Brettonwoodscondo3@gmail.com
Please do not call your board members at home unless it is an emergency after office hours.
Basement: The Basement will be open on Saturday, October 17, between 10:15am and 10:30am. All items stored in the basement must be in a plastic tote labeled with your name, address, and phone number. Hazardous or combustible items may not be stored. All items stored in the basement are also stored at your own risk. Please do not store items you will need on a regular basis.
Common charges: Everyone should have received a new common charge book in the mail by now, along with a copy of our current budget. Remember that all payments are due by the 1st of the month. If you have not received a new booklet, please contact the HOA office. Don’t forget to contact your financial institution to change the monthly debit amount if you make automatic payments for your common charges.
Elections: Elections for the Condo III Board of Managers will take place at our October meeting on Wednesday, October 21st, in the Performing Arts room at 7 pm. All homeowners should have already received an application in the mail. The proxy forms will follow before the election. Serving on the Board is a volunteer position that requires a commitment of time, energy, ideas, and a genuine interest in the ongoing management of our community. Any homeowner is eligible to serve on the Board. You must submit your application if you have an interest in running for one of our open positions. Applications should be mailed by USPS and received by Thursday, October 8th, 2026. If you have any questions, send an email to brettonwoodscondo3@gmail.com and a Board Member will get back to you.
Fire Prevention Month: Do not paint smoke detectors or remove them. If you have smoke detectors with batteries, please remember to change batteries regularly. Dryer vents should be cleaned annually.
Please remember that our House Rules and insurance regulations prohibit fire pits as well as tiki torches. We appreciate everyone complying with this rule and all of our House Rules. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our costs down and preventing additional increases in our common charges.
Friendly reminders:
• PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ATTIC STORAGE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
• All work requires board approval. Please submit a work order and wait for a response.
• Please keep our NO PARKING zones clear. Children are waiting for the school bus in the dark, and when you park in these spots, it makes it hard to see them and other pedestrians. It creates a dangerous situation. If you park here, you will be towed at your own expense.
• Our community dumpsters are not for use by contractors. Any contractor you hire must remove all debris from the premises. If they use our dumpsters for construction debris, the homeowner will be fined.
